Hansle Parchment made history when he became the first Jamaican to medal in the men’s 110m hurdles at the Olympics. Parchment set another national record of 13.12 after running 13.14 in the semis.

Alia Atkinson, Jamaica's first EVER Olympic swimmer and she placed FOURTH  in finals, first in her semi heat!
Had the worst lane that suffers a lot of waves from what I read! Amazing first time performance! (In the finals, she repped us in Beijing!)

Alia Atkinson in her swim-off to break a semi-finals tie with Canada...she won the swim-off and went on to the finals!
Went on to become the fourth best swimmer on the planet...JAMAICA! :)
