Womanish--Roam Mas Now Doing Trinidad Carnival 2011 Costume Registration on Facebook! All Costumes Less Than $500USD!

Womanish
Remember Roam Mas? I blogged about them HERE. Well the Roam Mas website is now up!

BUT you don't even have to go that far to buy your costume:

Now THAT'S what I'm talking about...social networking at it's finest!

And the prices are now listed in USD too so no running over to OAnda to figure your currency exchange out!

But Roam Mas didn't stop there...when you click on a costume section to add to cart, you get a DISCOUNT off the already very affordable price, for buying online through Facebook...and there's a spot for reviews on the costume as well.

Powered by:

I actually saw this app before and thought it was an EXCELLENT idea for all the mas bands, and for anyone running a business who advertises anywhere on Facebook!  Had suggested it to YUMA in the past, and will now be setting up a storefront for myself to be able to take payments in the future (whether for a costume sale, a used book, or my tax and career/education planning services...etc.!).  I just tried to set mine up and should note that 1. you need a PayPal account (also free) and 2. it is best you establish a Facebook Page for your business then add the storefront, because it will ask you once you sign up if you would like to connect the store to an existing page, and one thing I have learned with online applications, when it asks you about taking an action, that is the easiest and best time to do it!

It's hard to know all the options available when it comes to Trinidad, because so many businesses still run without making full and efficient use of the Internet and the power of social networking, but that is why we have blogs, to collect the info in one place so those who come after don't have to seek and search like we the bloggers did! :) Enjoy!  I definitely hope they keep this trend going strong for 2012!

Mas Assassin's blog finally made me figure out how to get a sample of past blogs to show!

Thanks to Mas Assassin, I finally wanted the 3 miniatures of past blogs related to the current topic to show badly enough that I stared at that area of his blog til I noticed the source: LinkWithin!

So now when you read one blog, you can see 3 more that have similar content, and not solely rely on a keyword search to the left side of the blog!

It is extremely simple to set up, basically does the work for you, all you have to do is drag the result to the appropriate area on your blog's Design section where you would like the content to show...and it pulls the Design screen up for you, no work there either. :)
In addition to the internal links, Eloquence, Inc. blog posts (and their author) can be found via:

Always evolving with this blog of mine--enjoy!

So I was asked "What's your definition of a REAL MAN?"

This Facebook anonymous Q&A status game has gone viral, and now they are doing it elsewhere.  If you don't know, it's where someone asks you a question, any question, and you post it up without identifying who asked, and post the answer, in the format Q: then A:...

This question is one many women need to ask themselves and maybe it will help them determine who is real and who is a fraud as they navigate the stormy seas of the dating/mating "game."  Keep in mind these are MY answers and I am not prescribing them for anyone, just posting my own thoughts!  Let me know what you think!

Q: What is your definition of a real man?

A:

He's strong (and I do not mean physically).

He has genuine respect for women, especially for his woman.

He has a healthy normal relationship with his mother if she's in his life and same for the father if he's in his life...if they are not proper parents then a real man has learned or been taught the proper relationship between a man and a woman and between that pair and a child by another couple or set of couples.

He has manners.

He has ambition and has evidence of being able to actually apply it to his life.

He has great problem-solving and critical thinking skills...you know, leadership abilities.

He inspires me.

He causes me to admire him without effort on his part, just the way he naturally is is admirable...

He is hardworking.

He is honest and can do it without being rude.

He may not be perfect, but when things are brought to his attention, he really tries...

He can form a monogamous, loving, and passionate bond with a woman. (As opposed to a professional gyallis who needs someone to justify settling down to him cause he literally sees no advantage to not whoring around.)

He is not afraid of the spiritual aspect of life and can hold real conversations about his beliefs and mine without drama.

He is a positive person.

He enjoys life, and doesn't merely survive through it.

He knows himself and his flaws, and knows a good woman along with/in spite of her flaws when he sees one.

lemme stop yah lol.

Eloquence, Inc blog: now on Facebook, Twitter, NetworkedBlogs, and mobile updates!

On THAT note, I think that's the last of the updates and links to and from the page for a WHILE! I don't want it to get too BUSY and intimidate first-timers who are probably already having a hard time finding information efficiently on the Web!

But let me know what you think of the look and updates so far, open to (constructive) comments, questions, praises, and concerns!

How to Create A Facebook Page

Thanks to a YUMA who suggested I create one...then I tried to look in my fb apps to do it and realized I don't know how!
