Eloquence, Inc. Is #Mobile!

Wow just signed in to a notice that I can now activate the beta version of my blog optimized for mobile phone viewing!  Glad the powers that be at Blogger figured out we need that readily and automatically available because I can't tell you how many times I asked a friend to check out something on here and the response was about some issue with the (rather graphics-heavy) site loading to a mobile phone!

Progression, yes!

Resume and Career Services Has Moved! Those Posts Now At: http://eloquenceinc.blogspot.com!

The site is up and ready, all business/career/education style posts will be transferred there from this, the Caribbean culture/travel blog, to keep the business and pleasure sides of my brain (and blogs) in their own more organized worlds!

Both still feed posts to the same Eloquence, Inc. Facebook Page, and both still feed posts as tweets to @eloquenceinc, so follow me on this blog for the after-work stuff, follow me on the Career Services blog for the work stuff, follow me on Twitter, subscribe by email to have the info come to you instead of you coming to the info, and like the Facebook page!

Need help on anything mentioned in either blog postings?  (404) 590-1882 and eloquence.inc@gmail.com!

Spread the word! :)

And note the difference in the site names... eloquence-inc (with the dash) comes here to the fun stuff...eloquenceinc (no dash) goes to the business stuff.  But there will be a link at the top of each site to take you to either site if you made a wrong turn! :)

TrinidadCarnivalDiary mentions my blog! Yay!

And that fact is worth mentioning cause one: any publicity (that's hopefully positive) is good, and two: that blog post (or her blog itself, TrinidadCarnivalDiary.com) drove a lot of visitors to MY blog recently and that's always great since she's a Trinidad carnival veteran and doesn't have to give any recognition to us newbies!  Thanks Saucy for reading AND posting a positive review about it!
This pic just SAYS carnival to me...can't explain it!

P.S. she had also given me a great review when the blog was even younger, fresher, greener...here!

Eloquence, Inc. Trinidad Carnival 2011 Pics Now on Rockwildaz.com!

I don't know if I had shared the exciting news that I had been asked if I wanted to work with Rockwildaz (IF?!!!) a few weeks ago, but it's official...and they've got some of my Carnival Monday and Tuesday pics up to prove it!

Check the pictures out here (the albums named, appropriately, "Carnival Monday" and "Carnival Tuesday")!

Chronicles of a Social Esquire-Their tips and recommendations for Trinidad Carnival!

Chronicles of a Social Esquire-Where being an attorney is not your average shade of gray - Blog

Please note these girls are the stush kind of partiers, so don't feel, for example, that you have to stay in the Trinidad Hyatt to have a great time! However all points of view of major events are good to have, from the top of the party social ladder to the bottom to the ones in between (and those who are versatile enough to hang anywhere!).  And of course, when you DO feel like big balling and going all out for your hotel stay in Trinidad, you know where the big ballers go thanks to the Social Esquires! Enjoy!

Pic is from their website.

Welcome to the blog visitors! More blog tweaking...

Seeing where in the world the latest visitors to TFT's blog hailed from made me want to see that on my own blog, so I clicked around, chose a template, tweaked the preview, and voila!  Another nice new widget (courtesy of Feedjit) for the blog!  Check to the left of each post to see who's reading too and from where!

And of course remember to follow the blog, follow me on twitter (@eloquenceinc), like the page on facebook, and share with your friends and family! Thank you!

Mas Assassin's blog finally made me figure out how to get a sample of past blogs to show!

Thanks to Mas Assassin, I finally wanted the 3 miniatures of past blogs related to the current topic to show badly enough that I stared at that area of his blog til I noticed the source: LinkWithin!

So now when you read one blog, you can see 3 more that have similar content, and not solely rely on a keyword search to the left side of the blog!

It is extremely simple to set up, basically does the work for you, all you have to do is drag the result to the appropriate area on your blog's Design section where you would like the content to show...and it pulls the Design screen up for you, no work there either. :)
In addition to the internal links, Eloquence, Inc. blog posts (and their author) can be found via:

Always evolving with this blog of mine--enjoy!

What do last night, Little Thai, Ocean's Jamaica, French pedicures and Atlanta's fall colours have in common?

I'll be blogging about them this week. lol

Quick preview:

1. I accidentally went NOWHERE last night (and if you remember, I was supposed to be going here)! lol Got the Little Princess (I've decided the kids should be the Little Princess after her favourite type of cartoon character and the Little Dragon after the very powerful Chinese year in which he was born) off to the sitter...and...woke up this morning! I know, that sucks, I was all ready to bring pictures!  It's okay though there is always a next time!

2. I been meaning to post a review and pics of Little Thai restaurant, where me and the Little Princess went for my birthday...her first Thai restaurant, and my first one in Atlanta!  I love Thai food so that blog post's coming soon.

3. Review also coming for Ocean's Jamaica, a restaurant I found today after church by using my TomTom GPS to search for whatever restaurant was nearby the place I got my French pedicure done!

And yes, I am very happy to have gotten the toes done even though it's boots season...and I am not the only Scorpio who decided we not bringing sexy back to our feet next summer, we going to make sure it never leaves! lol A couple friends on my fb were having the same thoughts as me!

The public may not be seeing them but ELOQUENCE, INC. will and I want see pretty French tips shining back at me!  Sometimes it's not about what "they" think, it's about what YOU think after having to actually look at yourself!

4. And last but not least, a look at the beauty of Atlanta...my neck of the woods...in fall!

Eloquence, Inc...Another Great Review for the Blog!

From veteran blogger Saucy (Trinidadcarnivaldiary.com):

your blog is actually pretty cool, you are covering a niche not explored which is to talk about YOUR band YUMA, and you have done a good job having relevant, timely and original topics.
Thank you I really appreciate that!

Eloquence, Inc blog: now on Facebook, Twitter, NetworkedBlogs, and mobile updates!

On THAT note, I think that's the last of the updates and links to and from the page for a WHILE! I don't want it to get too BUSY and intimidate first-timers who are probably already having a hard time finding information efficiently on the Web!

But let me know what you think of the look and updates so far, open to (constructive) comments, questions, praises, and concerns!
